In May 2017, we attended the 3rd International Conference on Landscape and Human Health in Vienna.
During the parallel sessions we principally discussed how green spaces, forests and therapeutic gardens affect our well-being.
It was really intriguing to get acquainted with the international researches on the connections between nature and human health.
In the frame of the “Effects of care farms on health and well-being” we presented the Hungarian social farming case and the main phases of its story. After our presentation British, Austrian, North-Irish and Dutch experts described the social farm systems in their own countries.
It was worthwhile for us to take part in the conference and get familiar with the international trends of this field in the preparation stage of InSPIRES‘ green care sub-project.
