Holding a double degree as a biologist and environmental economist, I am a full time staff member at the Centre for Economic and Regional Studies. I often cooperate with colleagues working at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences and other universities; Kislépték Association – and with colleagues at ESSRG. I have been involved in the work of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) since 2014, as a Lead Author of the Scenarios and Models Assessment, and lately, of the Nexus Assessment (food subchapter).
My main research interests concern local food systems and short food supply chains. In my free time I am one of the volunteer organizers of the Budafok Local Food Buying Club, an association of consumers.
